Although not credited anywhere in the book, translator Quiroz-Pecirno uses simple Spanish and eliminates complicated legal words, keeping true to the original English version. The appendix includes helpful information about divorce laws for all 50 states and Puerto Rico, as well as sample forms in Spanish and English. A glossary and index are also included. About the Author, Edward A. Haman

Edward A. Haman received his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and his law degree from the University of Toledo. He has practiced law in Florida, Michigan, and Hawaii, and has served as a Michigan Circuit Court domestic relations hearing officer. He has written or coauthored numerous self-help law books, ranging from titles that are national in scope as well as state-specific subjects.
