Young school-age children will learn a great deal from this book that describes the cycle of day and night. Fifteen two-page chapters simply describe such phenomena as the sunrise and the moon. Basic description of the events are described in a few sentences with a large font, making this a good beginning information book for young researchers, without introducing heavy scientific explanations. Colorful and interesting pictures capture the text and will peak children's interest in what they are reading about.
