Synopsis

ONE big dinosaur standing all alone…

TWO hungry dinosaurs biting on some bones.

Kids can really count on these delightful dinosaurs! The adorable characters from Paul Stickland’s best-selling Dinosaur Roar!—Squeak, Fierce, Meek, Tiny, Slimy, Spiky, and Lumpy—are perennial favorites with the preschool set, and they’re here to teach numbers from ONE to TEN.

These irresistible creatures will skip, run, sing, and play their way into kids’ hearts.

Publishers Weekly

Using some material from their 2005 book Dinosaur Numbers and Colors, the Sticklands take readers up to 10 with help from a lively group of dinos. Diehard fans may be disappointed that the creatures are never identified, but the emphasis is on the creatures’ often childlike antics, as “ix happy dinosaurs” are seen “singing a song,” and “seven messy dinosaurs” get covered in goop during an egg fight (hopefully those weren’t potential siblings). Also available: Dinosaur Opposites. Ages 3 5. (Aug.)
