About the Author, Al Qirim

Dr. Nabeel A. Al-Qirim is a lecturer of IS, a module coordinator of eBusinessIT and a researcher (path) in the School of Computer and Information Sciences, Faculty of Business, Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand. He has a Cert. (Education), Bachelor degree in Elec. Engin., PostGradDipInfoSys. (Hons. with distinction), MBA and PhD. His research interests and publications are in IT & eBusiness in small businesses, SCM, mobile business, telemedicine and eBusiness in NGOs and in SMEs in developing countries. He is the editor of "electronic business in small to medium-sized enterprises: Frameworks, issues and implications" and a co-editor of the book, "eBusiness, Government & Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises: Opportunities and Challenges." He worked in the IT industry for 12 years as a consultant and in managing total IT solutions with international companies: IBM, Compaq, Data General, Group Bull, and Siemens Nixdorf.
