Capstone's Blazers series "Fast Cars" focuses on the cars' speed, history, design, and current models. Short simple sentences, fast facts, and stunning photos aligned with text all contribute to each brief overview. With its focus on speed, racing remains the heart of the company; but its sports cars share the technology used in its race cars. The number built each year is limited and prospective buyers must apply! Like others in the series, this book has a time line with photos, diagram, glossary, index, and suggested books and websites. Unfortunately, one website did not come up and in a second the pictures did not load. All three sites are aimed at adults, not young or struggling readers. The low lexile makes this accessible to young readers and the photos will appeal to all car enthusiasts. Reviewer: Peg Glisson
