About the Author, Danforth Prince

As a team of veteran travel writers, Darwin Porter and Danforth Prince have produced numerous titles for Frommer's, which have included England, Italy, the Caribbean, Spain, and Germany.

Porter wrote the first ever Frommer’s guide to Paris and the first ever Frommer's guide to France. A Francophile, he has lived and worked in Paris on and off for many years. He was joined by Danforth Prince in 1982. Prince was previously employed by the Paris bureau of the New York Times and is the president of Blood Moon Productions and other mediarelated firms. Porter is also a film critic, columnist, broadcaster, and Hollywood biographer.
