The premise of this series is that everyday activities can be part of learning math. A little girl has trouble getting up in the morning, and this book follows her progress and explores the concept of time lines. Time lines are shown to represent her progress as she gets out of bed, eats breakfast and brushes her teeth. The time line that represents the 36 minutes it takes her to get ready for school is shown over and over again, with numerous opportunities for the reader to count. A brief parent's guide is included. This is a Level 2, "Math Start" book.
