Overview

Juvenile Law provides an expansive overview of every aspect of the law as it affects children. Readers will value the preliminary knowledge gained, thus allowing them to delve into a deeper discussion of the entire array of juvenile issues. The reader can draw on the book to incite a profound dialogue of the issues for more comprehensive research into a narrower area. The text covers the following areas: juvenile delinquency, child abuse, neglect and dependency, parentage actions including child custody, child support, paternity, and visitation. The book also contains sections on legal issues affecting children, such as parental notification of abortion and judicial bypass; emancipation; marriage: gangs, and cults.
