Synopsis

These Traditional Nursery Rhymes in board book form are perfect for parents and children to share and love! Little Miss Muffet enjoys an al fresco breakfast until she’s disturbed by a hungry arachnid.

Marilyn Courtot - Children's Literature

The familiar nursery rhyme holds no surprises. Miss Muffet is eating her curds and whey (which looks a lot like cottage cheese) and when the spider appears, she is frightened off. The resourceful spider has come with his own spoon and he and Miss Muffet's stuffed animal decide to finish off the meal. The characters all appear to be stuffed animals and the spider is a boy dressed in multiple pairs of sneakers, overalls and a baseball cap on backwards. A contemporary look for an old tale. Other companion books include Jack and Jill, Hey Diddle Diddle and Pat-A-Cake. 2003, Kids Can Press,
