Textbook presents neural networks and fuzzy theory from a unified engineering perspective. The basic theory uses only elementary calculus, linear algebra, and probability, as found in upper-division undergraduate curricula in engineering and science. Some applications use more advanced techniques from digital signal processing, random processes, and estimation and control theory.
