From The Critics

Reviewer: Steven M. Bernstein, MD(University of Colorado Health Sciences Center)
Description: This two-volume set is a comprehensive state-of-the-art reference on neuroimaging.
Purpose: The purpose is to serve as an all inclusive neuroimaging reference source.
Audience: General radiologists and neuroradiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuroscientists will all benefit from this book.
Features: This two volume set includes everything relevant to neuroimaging in the human. All imaging modalities are covered in depth including transcranial Doppler, diffusion/perfusion MRI, PET, myelography, angiography, etc. All topics relevant to neuroimaging are covered in detail including all conditions of the CNS. Imaging of the pediatric patient, head/neck/brain/spine, and syndromes are covered in detail. These books are organized and extremely well written. The images, charts, and diagrams are well selected and are of excellent quality and quantity.
Assessment: Although there are currently many excellent neuroimaging books on the market, no single source is as all-inclusive as this two-volume set. In my opinion, the goal of creating the single most inclusive reference set in neuroimaging was well achieved. I would strongly recommend this set to complete any image based library.
