Overview
NMR Spectroscopy of Polymers in Solution and in the Solid State provides reviews and original papers on the use of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy for polymers. Both synthetic and natural polymers are covered. This book also discusses both solution and solid state NMR.
Synopsis
This collection of papers is derived from an April 2001 symposium held in San Diego, California, bringing together an international group of leaders and active researchers from academia, industrial companies, and governmental laboratories to discuss the current practice of polymer NMR. Following an overview of the subject, the remaining 30 chapters are grouped into sections on solid-state NMR of polymers, solution NMR of synthetic polymers, solution NMR of biopolymers, combined NMR and separation techniques, and the dynamics of polymers in solution. Intended as a reference work for students and practitioners, and as a practical handbook for state-of-the-art techniques in this field. Distributed by Oxford U. Press. Annotation c.
