Partnership Law

This text deals with the area of formation, regulation and dissolution of partnerships governed by the Partnership Act of 1890, including questions of insolvency. It also discusses the consequences of the existence of a partnership as between the partners thenselves and also to those dealing with a partnership from outside.;The fifth edition incorporates a substantial number of recent decisions of the UK courts on partnership law. It also includes a chapter on the newly available Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). This edition takes into account the review of partnership law being undertaken by the Law Commissions of England and Wales and Scotland.

Geoffrey Morse is the Professor of Company Law at the University of Nottingham and has taught and written on company law, tax law and partnership law for over thirty years.
