Overview

This text covers basic patient care skills for unlicensed assistive personnel in hospitals, long term care facilities, subacute centers, and home health. Written with an emphasis on "real-world" clinical practice, it provides guidelines for common situations that caregivers encounter on the job. Designed to be a complete package there is a review at the end of each chapter and a comprehensive 225 question final exam in the appendix, eliminating the need for a separate workbook.
