About the Author, Patsy Fulton-Calkins

Dr. Patsy J. Fulton-Calkins' experience in the field is extensive. Her teaching experience includes work at the university, community college, and high school levels. In addition to her teaching experience, she has extensive leadership experience as an administrator in the following positions: Chancellor of Oakland Community College, Michigan; President of Brookhaven College, Dallas, TX; Vice President of Instruction, El Centro College, Dallas, TX; Division Chairperson of Business and Social Science, Cedar Valley College, Dallas, TX. She is presently the Director of the Bill J. Priest Center for Community College Education and holder of the Don A. Buchholz Endowed Chair at the University of North Texas, Denton, TX. Additionally, she teaches doctoral level courses in higher education that include senior level management, business and society, and diversity courses.
