About the Author, Charles E. Thomas

Charles E. Thomas has been the Division Chair and full-time professor at Lee College in Baytown, Texas since 1994. His program areas include Process Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology and Safety Management. Prior to joining the Lee College faculty, Dr. Thomas worked for Exxon Research and Engineering and Exxon Chemicals in a variety of operational, training and development positions. He is the author of THE PROCESS TECHNOLOGY HANDBOOK, Process Technology: SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT 2e, INTRODUCTION TO PROCESS TECHNOLOGY 3e, and PROCESS TECHNOLOGY TROUBLESHOOTING. Dr. Thomas holds an Associate of Science Degree from the University of the State of New York, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western Illinois University, a Master of Science Degree from the University of Texas and Doctoral Degree from Texas A&M University.
