Access is via the punctuation categories at the front of the book (e.g. phrases and adverbial phrases, sentence, quote, question) and the general index at the end which lists the categories in alphabetical order. Examples and exceptions are given for each numbered rule. Also included are many examples of trite or wrong word combinations (this is usage, rather than punctuation), seemingly directed at business letter writers. Annotation c.
