Synopsis
Terror strikes the inhabitants of the entire town. Dan is numb. Catastrophes that boggled his imagination are happening simultaneously. His mother had warned him about the possibility of tragedies like these coming to pass, perhaps even during his lifetime. What if her faith hadn't been just a crutch? What if she was right? What if all the things that he dismissed as nonsense or scoffed at secretly were true? What am I going to do about it now? Is it too late? Dan tries to think clearly amidst the turmoil. The quiet town he grew up in is no longer the same. All of the children and a few others are missing. He has to find the answers to his questions. He's been shocked out of his complacency and indecision. Dan reaches down deep within himself, and finds the courage to get Ready-To Resist.
