Skills for Planning Practice

The skills required for effective planning practice are rarely written about by planning practitioners. This book takes as its starting point the long and senior practice base of its author, and reflects both on the skills that experience shows are needed to do the job and on how skills of this nature might be developed. For these purposes, planning practice skills are divided into seven broad clusters which are introduced, analyzed, and then tested through self-assessment case studies and exercises. The book will be essential reading for all students and practitioners.
