Gr 9-12 Excellent background ac counts of single days of historical im portance provide gripping live-action records of what really happened. As in the other books in the series, the first section provides the detailed accounts of what actually took place. Great care is used to make all of the accounts his torically accurate, especially any dia logue that may be included. The second section is an investigation which places the actual event in its wider historical context, highlighting its importance in today's world. The illustrations are not of the same caliber as the text. Repro ductions are small and dark, and line drawings lack contrast.
