Synopsis
Specialists in computer vision and researchers from graphics, photogrammetry, medical imaging, and related fields examine how individual frames of video sequences can be registered with each other to distinguish static from moving features, and allow other kinds of analysis or processing for various purposes. The nine studies have been refined and extended from some of the invited papers presented to a workshop following the summer 2001 international conference of the IEEE in Vancouver, British Columbia.
