Synopsis

IN BRIEF
A mother and daughter team up to help readers identify, focus on, and develop their own strengths. This book offers an approach that leads to greater self-esteem and a richer sense of life's possibilities-a positive and refreshing alternative to problem-focused self-help books.

Why You Are Good, Worthy, Wonderful, Beautiful, and Unique
You have dozens of wonderful qualities, traits great and small that make you capable, valuable, and worthy of love. Often it's easy to ignore these positive attributes and obsess on the things about yourself that aren't perfect. But when you do, you may risk harming your self-confidence and self-esteem. Psychologists have known for decades that feeling positively about yourself is a good place to start if you want to enjoy success and a general sense of well-being. Now you can put the power of self-celebration to work for you.

In this book you'll find a warm and engaging set of activities you can use to identify what's right in your life. Through guided reflection and journaling, you'll learn to find strength and self-reliance in your own best qualities. You'll get to know yourself better, and you'll love all the wonderful things you'll discover in the process. Even after you finish the book, you'll want to revisit your own words again and again: They'll inspire you with confidence and guide you to great success, happiness, and peace of mind.
