Information about each animal helps make the book educational as well as fun. Freddie Levin has been dividing her time between freelance illustration assignments and art instruction since 1968. She is currently at work on a number of projects and also teaches art, with classes ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade, at a Chicago public school. She lives in Chicago, Illinois.
