About the Author, David Burnie

David Burnie writes about natural history and Conservation. Since 1979, he has written or contributed to more than 80 books and multimedia titles, and has also worked as a consultant for natural history programs on television. He wrote Dorling Kindersley's award-winning How Nature Works and was consultant editor on the DK Nature Encyclopedia.
