Overview

After a heart and lung transplant operation, dancer Claire Sylvia discovered that new organs were not the only thing she inherited. Never having liked such foods as beer and chicken nuggets, she suddenly started craving them. After an extraordinary dream, she seeks out the family of her donor β€” a teenaged boy who died in a motorcycle accident β€” and learns that it is indeed possible for two souls to merge in one body.

"This is a story that must be told and heard...a fascinating example of how cellular memory can outlive physical death". β€” Deepak Chopra, M.D.

Synopsis

Struck by a fatal disease, her life saved by a heart and lung transplant, Claire Sylvia emerged from her near-death experience feeling like a different person, with different tastes, sensations, even memories. Prompted by a dream, she sought the family of the young man whose heart now pumped in her chest. And when she did, she discovered the mysterious realm where two humans became as one. Now she shares her story and cites new scientific evidence, as she leads us on a journey to a new understanding of who we are.
