About the Author, Robert Cameron

Robert Cameron (1911-2009) was a famed American photographer and publisher of 17 books featuring aerial photographs of cities throughout the world. Nina Gruener grew up thinking her grandfather, Robert Cameron, had the coolest job around. The story of Cam is a tribute to the sense of wonder with which Robert Cameron approached every city. She lives in Northern California with her husband and two children.
