Description: Using a clear, organized approach, this book provides an easy-to-read study guide tool to prepare for the ACLS exam. The "key points" in each chapter highlight important concepts and the "quick quizzes" at the end of chapters help readers assess their understanding. This previous edition was published in 2006.
Purpose: The purpose is to provide a concise yet comprehensive, easy-to-read and understand resource to successfully review for the ACLS exam. Exam preparation is essential for confidence in taking the exam and for real-life application in emergency situations.
Audience: The book is targeted at medical personal who are preparing for the ACLS exam. It also may be helpful for persons interested in teaching an ACLS course or who wish to learn difficult ACLS concepts. The many contributors are all registered nurses with various backgrounds.
Features: The basics of advanced cardiac life support open the book.
