About the Author, Ali A. Abdi

Ali A. Abdi is associate professor of comparative and international education in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at the University of Alberta. Korbla P. Puplampu is sociology instructor in the Department of Psychology and Sociology at Grant MacEwan College. George J. Sefa Dei is professor and chair of the Department of Sociology and Equity Studies for the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto (OISE/UT).
