Synopsis
The dozen articles of this collection detail the design methods and technologies of computer supported cooperative work (CSCW) and agent technologies. Among the topics are introductory chapters on both CSCW and agent technologies, agent-augmented meetings, using agents to coordinate a community care center, agent-supported web-based cooperative design, the use of agents to support collaborative design, privacy and security, and a mobile agent framework for the digital technology used by a traveling workforce.
