About the Author, Douglas Mudd

Douglas Mudd is one of the foremost numismatists in his field. He has been employed by the Smithsonian Institution and the International Monetary Fund and is now the curator of The American Numismatic Association's Money Museum. He writes a regular column for Numismatist.
