Synopsis

Jason Davis was introduced to trout fishing over 25 years ago on a small Northern Michigan stream. As most trout fishermen do, he began with a spinning rod and hardware. Eventually, in 2005, Jason started fishing with a fly rod exclusively. During the winter of 2008 he was invited to a Clinton Valley Trout Unlimited meeting and learned about the great conservation opportunities within the Clinton River watershed. Weeks later he joined the Clinton River Watershed Council for their annual Stonefly Search. This sparked an interest in local conservation.
