About the Author, Walter Hazen

Walter Hazen earned degrees in history and education, and later in deaf education. He gained vast teaching experience in middle school and high school, as well as 20 years teaching at the School for the Deaf and Blind, St. Augustine, Florida. He has authored numerous instructional books as well as all 16 books in the Good Year Books Everyday Life series.
