Overview

Aaron Blumenthal was a Conservative rabbi, an Army chaplain, and served as president of the Rabbinical Assembly and on its Committee on Jewish Law and Standards. This book is a collection of his halakhic papers, including his teshuvah on aliyot for women. It also includes more than eighty of his newspaper columns on such subjects as the halakhic process, ritual forms in the synagogue, halakha and women, Israel, and the American Jewish community.
