K-Gr 3-These books combine visual comparisons, geographical facts, and color-coded Mercator maps with well-written explanatory texts. Definitions appear on the bottom of each page on which key words are introduced. Both books include places to see and a map showing their locations. The full-color graphics are well done and inviting. These titles are uniformly and consistently laid out so that any reader familiar with one will easily be able to utilize the other. Both Antarctica and Africa are good additions to basic geography collections.-Karen Land, Greenport Public School, NY Copyright 2003 Reed Business Information.Book Details
