Chaim Arlosoroff (1899-1933) emigrated to Palestine in the 1920s and became a leader of the Labor Zionist Party and head of the political department of the Jewish agency. He was an advocate of a socialist Jewish state, and an opponent of the right-wing Revisionist movement headed by Vladimir Jabotinsky.
