Synopsis

A wager among gentleman propels Mr. Phileas Fogg to attempt circumnavigating the globe in a mere 80 days. This classic tale of high adventure, originally published in 1873, takes the reader on a journey through exotic 19th century locations. The plot is not easily predicted as Fogg's travels propel his crew through Brindisi, Suez, Bombay, Calcutta, Hong Kong, Yokohama, San Francisco and New York. Unbeknownst to Fogg, his travels are being carefully watched as his mysterious past is called into question. Fans of "steampunk" will appreciate the retro-futurism embodied in this masterpiece of historically scientific and technologically rich fiction.
