Synopsis

Christmas is only days away! While D.W. adds to the list of presents she wants, Arthur sets out to find the perfect gift to give Santa, and nothing seems good enough. Arthur and his friends visit Santa at the toy store but Santa won't tell Arthur what he wants. Then, Arthur sees Santa at the ice cream shop, and at the Chinese food restaurant, and the Deli and on TV eating pickled peppers. Arthur has an idea. With a little help from his little sister, he cooks Santa a feast, and Christmas is a success!

About the Author, Marc Brown

Two things suggest that Arthur, the loveable star of children s books and the PBS series, may not be so fictitious after all: 1) Kids are known to call Marc Brown s house looking for their bespectacled friend and 2) Brown s third grade class picture -- according to many, a dead-ringer for the aardvark himself.
