About the Author, James Allen

Born in Leicester, England in 1864, James Allen wrote nineteen popular works of inspiration before his death in 1912. From Poverty to Power was his first book, followed by As a Man Thinketh, his best-known work.

Arthur R. Pell, Ph.D., who revised Think and Grow Rich and the present edition of As a Man Thinketh, is the author of numerous articles and books on management, career planning, and human relations.
