Audience: Nurses, midwives, and healthcare professionals who supervise and assess in clinical settings are the audience. Although written primarily for those practicing in the United Kingdom with an emphasis on nurses and midwives, this book can be beneficial to all healthcare professionals who have the responsibilities of assessing and supervising in any clinical setting.
Features: The book explores four broad categories for assessment purposes. Chapter 1 reviews why we assess and addresses conflicting values of this purpose.
