“ … this bruiser will likely see plenty of use.”

Kirkus Reviews
With testosterone fairly vibrating from its pages, this vertically oriented, slightly oversized book celebrates Big Machines That Go Vroom, including a semi, a dump truck, a fire engine, a backhoe, a pickup and a concrete mixer: "This is a very useful truck / With an important job to do, / Mixing up the concrete / And delivering it too!" The uneven doggerel is paired with a photograph of each machine, which appears against a bright, two-toned background and features some touch-and-feel element. The semi has a corrugated grille, the dump truck carries a load of sandpaper sand. A couple are pretty lame-the fire engine has shiny foil lights, the pickup a similarly shiny grill-and appeal more to the eye than the fingers, but overall, this bruiser will likely see plenty of use.
