Synopsis
Encore! Young dance fans will clap and cheer as the enormously popular star of Ballet Kitty returns for a repeat performance. And this time, she’s embarking on a brand new adventure: her very first real ballet class.
Dressed in their prettiest slippers and leotards, Kitty and her friend Princess Pussycat are all prepared to do perfect pliés and glide gracefully across the floor. Their pal Ginger Tom isn’t so sure about ballet, though; he’s wearing sneakers and shorts and grumpily saying, “I don’t want to go!” But by the end of class everyone’s learned that even without the right costume a dancer can deserve a big round of applause.
Bernette Ford and Sam Williams have created a charming, lighthearted story that will appeal to any ballet-loving child—and provide young ballerinas and danseurs with an introduction to dance class, too.
