Gr 3-4-- This biography will no doubt be widely used in schools looking to expand their collections on current VIP women. The information is simply presented, emphasizing Mrs. Bush's interest in literacy, which grew from her own family's needs. There is a brief timeline of important dates and a comprehensive index. Many of the photographs, however, are extremely grainy and fuzzy; they look as if they were reproduced from old newspapers. Also, some are black and white and some sepia and white, apparently to add color interest to the page--at any rate, it's an unsuccessful distraction.
