Carol's design career began with honors in the fashion industry 45 years ago. In 1963, she joined Mattel Toys as a Barbie doll designer. Throughout her career, Carol has created more fashion designs for Barbie doll than any other person. Recently, Carol retired from Mattel as Chief Barbie Designer following 36 award winning years designing for Barbie and inspiring children's dreams. Her expertise was invaluable in compiling information and photographs for this book.
