Synopsis
This volume contains 175 b&w annotated photos that illustrate ballet artist Baryshnikov's career in the West from 1974-2000. The introduction by New Yorker dance critic Joan Acocella provides details about his childhood in Latvia, his training with Pushkin, his career at the Kirov, and his departure to the West.
