Alan Wycheck is a concrete specialist and former partner in The SO Factory, a concrete design company. He is also an award-winning photographer and lives in central Pennsylvania.

Sharon Hernes Silverman is a writer, crocheter, and designer based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She is the author of several other books and a member of the Crochet Guild of America. She has appeared several times on HGTV's fiber arts show Uncommon Threads. She blogs at blog.sharonsilverman.com.

Annie Modesitt is a knit and crochet designer and instructor from South Orange, New Jersey. Her work is featured regularly in books and magazines, including the Interweave Knits crocheting issue, and she maintains an active teaching schedule. Annie is the editor of the 2006 Crochet Pattern-a-Day Calendar.
