Children's Literature -
Who knew that there could be so many villains to deal with in Gotham City when the Joker releases his evil friends from the Gotham Arkham Asylum? Many of them are good people who have gone bad as a result of accidents or experiments gone wrong, including Two-Face, who flips a coin to decide whether he will follow a good or evil path after an attack on the courthouse steps results in his face being deformed. Poison Ivy is a botanist who now has a toxic touch, and Mr. Freeze was frozen during a lab experiment and wears a suit to keep his body temperature below zero. These characters along with The Penguin, The Joker, and Scarecrow are on the loose and causing problems in Gotham City. Batman and his sidekick Robin work very hard to round up each of them and turn them over to the police. Plenty of action takes place on each page, and the back cover lists other books that may appeal to kids who cannot get enough of these characters. Reviewer: Marilyn CourtotBook Details
