Overview
I ask myself where does this story begin? There are seldom clear-cut beginnings the moments we can look back and say that everything started. Yet there are times when fate intercedes with our daily routine setting into motion events whose outcome we could never have seen or believed.
The most profound thing about this book I think is my son was not to live! The doctor said he was dead. After I told him they just took him away, he said you have a Mongolian Idiot less than 25% IQ. They sent him home to die and for three months he was as the "living dead." I did not understand what he was telling me all I could say was I just had to try. He was touched, moved and played with everyday. He was fed with a teaspoon every hour on the hour for those three months. I had him prayed for and a miracle was performed. He is now the most active beautiful person around. He has nothing but "pure" love and the child like faith God wants us all to have.
