The writing is clear with pronunciations following new or technical words. Beef describes where and how North American beef cattle are raised, slaughtered, processed, and marketed. Dairy Products tells where and how dairy cattle are raised in this country, and explains how various dairy products are processed. Poultry describes the favorite birds raised in North America and some European countries, noting a few variations. Cooper offers simple descriptions of how poultry is raised as well as information on processing and marketing.
