Purpose: It is designed to provide an introduction to behavioral neurology which provides useful clinical rules for the clinician, although it is only partially successful.
Audience: The book is aimed at neurologists and neurology residents.
Features: The book has many useful summary tables and clear black-and-white line diagrams.
Assessment: The organization as maxims rather than chapters gives this book a readable style. At times the author appears to be struggling between writing a conventional textbook of behavioral neurology and writing a book of maxims. In general, this is a very successful introduction to behavioral neurology. Material is clearly covered but at an introductory level. Neurologists or neuropsychologists will find this as a useful entry level text.
