Synopsis
Focusing on what can be achieved in the schooling context, this work presents an educational model for teaching positive learning and behavior for children with attention deficit and task-avoiding behaviors. The "Behavior Recovery" program modeled in the text is a whole-school program in which teachers target specific behaviors and train students in one-on-one sessions to recognize distracting and disruptive behaviors and gain greater levels of mastery over themselves.
